(12/02/09) Fresh From the Paint Shop

Fresh from the paint shop and just in time for Christmas, Glenn and Ann Wise's freshly painted Colgate 26 is pretty as a picture and ready to take home all the Silver at the Macmahan Island racing circuit this summer!

(11/20/09) Rebuilding of "B" Dock

Now that the boats are all hauled and covered, we begin the winter work. Here we see Dana and David beginning the rebuilding of "B" dock. Phase 1 will be completed this winter, with the balance planned for next winter. Have a great Thanksgiving next week

(11/12/09) The season is over!

Ok, as hard as it is to admit, we give up. The season is over. As the docks sit empty David, Mark, Eric and Bear put the St. Lawrence skiff away for another winter.

(11/03/09) Hooray!!!

The bridge is open! Yes we are all happy to say that once again we can go over the Back River between Georgetown and Arrowsic without detours. Gene Reynolds organized a nice bridge opening ceremony (including of course speeches from local dignitaries) last Friday which was very well attended. About a hundred residents from both our side and the Arrowsic side showed up to witness a ribbon cutting by 8 of our "elder" citizens as they were referred to. Nice job Gene.

(10/27/09) Sunrise at Goose Rock

As we near the end of October we are treated to mild morning temps(if you consider 35 mild)and a beautiful sunrise.
